You may have noticed from a couple of past episodes that I’m rather passionate about my toilet seat attachment (aka, bidet attachment). I feel like people who’ve never tried a bidet attachment simply don’t know what it’s like to properly clean their bottoms after going. I had to find someone to be on the show to discuss this and I found Sina Yektaei from Los Angeles!
Kenneth Copp talks with me about how his strong love for the environment and his Christian faith brought him to join the Amish and eschew many modern conveniences. Then, a chance meeting with an atheist introduced him to critical thinking and made him re-examine the Bible and the very foundations of his belief in God and religion.
After fifteen years an Amish, Kenneth’s mind is free of religious superstition and he’s now in the rare position of being perhaps the only Amish Atheist. His belief in gods is gone but his desire to keep his environmental footprint as small as possible keeps him living an Amish lifestyle.
